So sorry to recently discover via FB of John's passing. I was class of '79 SMN. I enjoyed many hours in the pool on the swim team with John.

John is responsible for a lot of smiles I've had over the years. For that, I'm grateful and he will be missed.

John was one of the 1st people I met when I arrived at Oliver Hall in 1980. He was a true friend, even though for only a short period of time. I will always remember him for teaching me "the trick" to Space Invaders! We once went to a tourney in KCMO and realized we really weren't that good at the game, but it was a great experience just the same. Rest in Peace.

John was a special and longtime friend. Even though we rarely agreed on any subject we could talk for hours. He was always there for me if I needed him. Wish I could spend another evening with you.

Hi Dean, This is Denis Ross of the old "Big Blue" days. I'm sad to hear of John's passing. He was only four years older than my son. Can't imagine the hurt. With my best regards, Denis
