John Marino Obituary

John Charles Marino, 75, of Parsons, passed away at 2:59 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2024.

He was born on March 31, 1949 in Manhattan, Kansas to John and Viola (Rolander) Marino.

John grew up in Salina, Kansas and for a majority of his adult life he lived at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center. He enjoyed listening to music, socializing with his family and friends and enjoyed eating ice cream, especially strawberry.

He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Malone of Los Angeles, CA, Rose Marino and her husband, David Hann of Lawrence, Lucille Marino of Lawrence, and a brother Anthony Marino and his wife, Laura of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Belle Marino.

A private burial will take place at Olsburg Cemetery in Olsburg, Kansas.

Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
