John Hill was a favorite of my father William Victor Duncan . My father trained John Hill how to box in the early years. His father was my favorite uncle always kidding with us. I remember aunt Juanita or "TINY" as i knew her and what a great lady

.I was on a flight crew with 2nd Lt John Duncan on KC97 Air refueling Tankers at Biggs AFB El Paso Texas in 1955. It was his first assignment from flight school and my first assignment from radio operator school. I was 17 years old and "Dunc" as he was called,kept me out of mischief, He was always there when I needed him. He was my co.pilot, and I have many fond memories of our service together in the Air Force. I retired after 28 years from the AF.

Dear Mrs. Duncan, Kevin, John and Tim;
I worked at Eastman\ Office Depot with some of you and John for thirteen years. He was the most strong and honorable leader of my entire career. I am blessed to have known him and his family as personal friends. I remember when we built the 500,000 square foot facility in Signal Hill (where allegedly the curvature of the earth could be seen in it's roofline) that John called it a “weapon” and another time when Kevin and I were fishing and lost one of John's reels overboard he wouldn't hear of me replacing it.

I worked for Eastman in Denver for over 15 years, beginning in 1987. John was my boss, Frank Martorella's, boss. John was very well respected. I was an executive secretary, and I always remember at a sales meeting he once told everyone that I had a sense of urgency. My sincere sympathy. May he rest in peace.

Dear Janet and Boys: We were saddened to learn of John's passing and want you to know how much I appreciated his leadership on the Board of Directors of the Country Club Estates HOA. He challenged the Board to think in new directions and he provided us with ideas to improve how we did things. He will be missed by many who respected him. Our thoughts are with you as you mourn your loss. Blessings to you all

Janet & family. I was so saddened to learn of John's passing this past week. A finer man than John is hard to find. I always admired his professionalism and genuine personality. I never listened to an inspirational speaker better than John. I will always remember how supportive he was of the police department in Signal Hill during the growing years of the Eastman Company. It was so nice, all the chance encounter meetings we had here in the Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage area the last several years and got a chance to visit. Sorely missed, he will be welcome at that Country Club above. Vaya Con Dios my friend.

John HIll was my most favorite cousin. We had so much fun together when we were young. He was a great diver and a wonderful jitterbugger! Distance made it hard to keep up with him, but he will always be in my fondest memories.

John Duncan was my boss at Eastman inc. He was a no nonsense man, but still acknowledged your earnest work with a well done.
His granddaughter, Tiffany, is my daughter Brigette's niece. We have known the family for a long time.
Our hearts and prayers are with you and all of your family, Kevin.
God Bless.
