I knew Jack from high school at Shawnee Mission North. He was like our Student Body President, Dr. George Pierson he was always cordial and said hello to everyone! He was just a nice guy, and will be missed. I offer my deepest sympathies to his family.

May God's peace find you in this tough time. I hope and pray that sorrow and sadness can be turned to happy memories and laughter. I am so thankful for Jack's contributions to the men's group that was so instrumental to me and my family finding our way back to God. God Bless, Nathan Gronberg

I knew Jack for over 20 years in an online sports discussion group. I met him three times in person. Like Jack, I had a love for officiating and we spent many hours (and keystrokes) discussing rules and plays. A good friend who will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Jack was a great next door neighbor and friend. He could always be counted on to help out, give good advice, or for fun conversation on any topic. He showed me how to grow grass on Kansas clay. He told me about watering the foundation so our house wouldn't sink when the clay dried out. He also gave me the nerve to repaint our rusty, faded yellow fire hydrant a bright red, white, and blue. He called it a KU plug. It was more on his property so I figured Olathe would give him the ticket. Jack will be greatly missed by many, but memories of fun times will live on forever.

Jeannie ~ I have fond memories of you and Jack hanging out with us, listening to music so long ago. I know he'll be missed by many whose lives he touched. Remember the good times and cherish those memories. Love you, my friend.
