Joan McCarthy Obituary
Joan was born on April 29, 1942, in Richmond, A, the daughter of Linus and Eleanor (Austin) Brazil.
Joan married Michael McCarthy on November 7, 1964, in Concord, CA, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Kelly Ann (Michael) McCarthy-Rettig, Shivaun Lee (Shawn) McCarthy, Erin Dee (Mark) Bergkamp, and many grandchildren.
Joan was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Padraic Desmond McCarthy.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to The Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
