Jo's passing brings back many fond memories of when I was in graduate school. Jo and her husband, my mentor, provided deeply meaningful family-like support. May her generous family spirit carry on.

Jo was a trailblazer in many ways and I imagine an inspiration to many, those known and unknown. She raised some pretty amazing children as well. Hosting her while she was in Walla Walla for a Saint Paul's School for Girls reunion was a special treat. May her memory be for a blessing.
