Jimmy Dick Obituary
Jimmy passed away on January 16, 2022, at his home in Lawrence from Cancer.
Jimmy was born on September 6, 1950, in Topeka, KS the son of James and Dorothy (Viles) Dick.
He graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka, KS.
He worked for 47 years as a fire equipment service technician.
Jimmy was a great fisherman and enjoyed hot rods.
He married Velda Pierson on December 14, 1968, in Lawrence, KS. They were married for 53 years; she survives of the home with their three dogs.
The family suggests memorials in Jimmy's name to Lawrence Humane Society or to the VNA Hospice and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 w. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.

Velda, I'm so sorry to hear about Jimmy. He was definitely one of the kindest friend anyone could have. Both he and Gary are still watching over us and we will
always have the wonderful memories of the cabin and of course, all the fishing, fun and laughter we shared.
