I was so saddened to learn of Bud's passing, but comforted by all the wonderful childhood memories of him. Bud never had an unkind word for anyone, even for the football coaches who seemed unmerciful at the time. We only saw one another on occasion as adults, but Bud was the same as he was as a teenager: cheerful, humble, and more interested in asking about others than talking about himself. We are all poorer because of his passing, but richer from having had him as a friend. My warmest wishes for strength are with Bud's family.

We were buddies as kids and youth in Baldwin in the 50s and 60s. We graduated together from BHS in 1966. Those were the days. We saw one another and our classmates a while back. I'll miss you. I pray that your family accepts my deepest stmpathies to them for their loss too.
