Jerry Hall Obituary

Jerry Hall, of Lawrence, passed away, in the early evening of June 28, 2025, with his wife and children, next to him.

He was born to Bill and Helene Hall, raised in Osage City, where he enjoyed small town life and was the youngest of three boys. He met his wife, Roxanne, while she was visiting Osage City, in the summer of 1977, and they were married in 1979. Jerry and Roxanne began their life attending the University of Pittsburg. They enjoyed life there, staying 11 years, starting his career with JC Penney, having their three children, and making friendships that continue to this day.

Lawrence became home in the 1990's. Jerry's career continued with JCP, the Lawrence Journal-World, and Laird Noller Ford. His expertise in customer service made him a valuable asset in every aspect of his career, with Laird saying, "Jerry was the best hire, he ever made".

Jerry's passion was his family, he was happiest with his wife, his children and two beautiful grandsons. He enjoyed cars, fishing, gardening, and visiting with the people he loved. He will be missed by many, but now joins his parents and son.

A celebration of his life will be held 7/25/2025 at 3:00, at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to our church or the Douglas County Humane Society in Jerry's name. Condolences may be sent to the family's home or in care of St. Margaret's.
