I didn't know Jeremy Richman. I want to send out my condolences to his family and friends. I'm a mother of 5 beautiful children and I would be devastated if something happened to any of mine. Losing a loved one is never easy. I'm so sorry this all has happened to this community and has caused so much tragedy. When something like this happens in one community, it effects everyone.

I'm sorry this message is so late. Rest in Peace and God Bless Your Family.

Ms. Richman and family: So sorry for this horrific loss to you again. I hope the Lord gives you the peace that surmounts all understanding. To comfort you if only for a minute will you picture your precious little girl greeting her daddy when he arrived. Someone wise said "if we only knew we wouldn't be afraid or sad".

May your family find peace and love in the memories of your loved one - Jeremy. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

Dear Jennifer:
I have spoke to God today,and asked him to help you through your heartbreak.I asked that he carry you in your times of weakness,to embrace you with love and comfort you, to bring your heart peace, and to give you strength for each day passing day. I of course don't know you personally, but I wish I could be there to put my arms around you and help you somehow. My heart has been broken before by tragedy, so I understand some of the pain, yet I feel that only time can heal our hearts and our faith and trust in God. Try to focus on the precious memories you shared with Avielle and Jeremy, and know that you will reunite again someday in Heaven with them and that will be a glorious day beyond description. Keep your Faith and trust in God. There is a song written about your beautiful children that were taken too soon, and the song is a beautiful dedication. The name of the song is " I Believe" sung by George Strait, so perhaps you could download it as it is a song that will bring peace to your heart. George Strait lost his daughter at a young age tragically. I will continue to pray for you Jennifer and for your family.

I cannot imagine the pain that Jeremy must have been feeling that drove him to take his own life. So incredibly sorry. I heard him on the Dan Harris 10% Happier podcast and was inspired by all your family has done in the wake of losing your precious Avielle. Im committed to spreading the message of your foundation as its work is needed desperately

My heart breaks for the family of Jeremy Richman. I remember this horrific tragedy and still find it hard to believe this happened. I am from New Britain,CT, living in Victoria, B.C. Canada. I had the good fortune to attend a talk that Dr Richman gave in Washington state last year. My coworkers and I were deeply inspired by his presentation; we still talk about it to this day. I am so grateful for all of the work offered to the world through the Avielle foundation. So grateful to have seen how Dr Richman summoned his courage and intelligent compassion to speak out against the stigma that surrounds brain disorders, which causes suffering in every city of every state in our country, every day. Dr. Richman lit the candle of compassion in me, and in thousands of other people. May we now shine that light brighter in his memory. May we be kinder, reach out more to each other, and never stop cherishing life and working for a more humane world.

Dr. Richman was gracious enough to speak at our national psychiatry administrators meeting at Yale in 2017. His speaking to our group meant so much to me personally and our group. I am praying for Mrs. Richman and her family. May his memory be a blessing and he finally be at peace.

Jeremy was a guest speaker for new teachers at my school in San Diego. His message of resilience, hope, and neuroplasticity resonated with each new teacher he spoke with. His message lives on in each of us and in the students, we serve every day. My heart breaks for him and for his family. I hope they can know how much they and Jeremy will continue to mean to the world of brain health and education. I am so very sorry.

Sincerest condolences to all of your family and friends. Having lost my own 33 year old daughter to suicide almost 3 years ago during a period of hopelessness following the loss of her toddler foster child back to the system, our family is testament that the pain of that loss never goes away. LMO

I have had this family in particular on my heart ever since Avielle was killed, and to read this tester about Jeremy broke my heart yet again. So many prayers and much love to Jennifer, Imogen and Owen...prayers for strength and comfort and for them to always feel Jeremy and Avielle watching over them. ❤

I had the distinct pleasure of hearing Jeremy Richman speak at a Sisters of Social Service event, in March 2018. Dr. Richman's message was so profound and moving. I'm so sorry to hear of his death. He was such a man of vision and had such a message to share. I will keep him, his daughter, and his entire family & community in my prayers.
