You may not remember, John, that my mother, Fern Duver, provided child care for you when you were quite young and lived on 6th St in Lawrence. I was attending KU at that time and remember you as a cute, well behaved, blond boy. Although I didn't know you or your mother well, I'm so sorry for your loss. Bob Duver Lawrence, KS

Jennie was my dear friend. We attended a lot of enjoyable events when she lived in Lawrence and shopping was one of them. She was a member of the Lawrence Region Men & Women Widows' Group and was a valued member. Her vibrant, caring and fun loving nature was great to be around. I am so thankful I knew her. She did love to invite people over for dinner and she was a very good cook. I remember her singing the old tunes and her love of dance. She will be missed. My condolences to the family. Emma, her granddaughter was so precious to her and she loved her very much. I will remember her in my prayers.
