Janie Hawkins Obituary
She was born November 3, 1947 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Glen E. and Reba K. (Hamm) Hastings.
She married Charles S. Hawkins on December 26, 1967 at St. Johns the Evangelical Catholic Church in Lawrence, KS. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her children, Tyra L. (Kevin) Newman and their children, Aron, Caden and Jacob; Tasha D. (Steve) Aldrich and their children, Makenzie, Koby, Karlie and Kendall; Jacob J. (Jen) Hawkins and their children, Talis and Skylar; her sister, Diana Martin; 2 great-grandchildren, Cameron and Kaya. She was preceded in death by her parents and two foster sons, Robert Skeen and Daniel Davis.
Contributions can be made to the VNA Hospice and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
