My heart goes to the family. She was great teacher and later friend as I fixed her car from time to time. German class could be challenging at times but enjoyed her presence

Our children send their condolences and thanks to Frau Olin for the excellent German teacher she was. One called her amazing and inspiring. Three of them used her gift to become fluent in German and able to use it in Germany and Switzerland. Some went on to study French, Vietnamese, Latin, and Spanish. Jan gave them a good foundation in learning any language. I am grateful for her friendship over many years. Danke, Frau Olin.

Frau Olin was my German teacher for three years at South Junior High. She made learning German interesting and fun and inspired me to continue taking German through high school. I have been able to use my German on a couple trips to Germany. Thank you, Frau Olin.
