James Topping Obituary
Jim Topping was born and raised May 8, 1926, in Lawrence, Kansas. He served as an Air Force Pilot in the Korean War and moved to Bloomington, Minnesota in 1960 to raise his family and start his career with North Central Airlines and Republic Airlines as a pilot (Captain) which lasted 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Ruth Topping of 64 years. They were married on June 3, 1950.
He is survived by his 4 daughters; Ann Topping, Melinda "Lin" Topping (Keith Lowinske), Kathleen Ryan and Darcy (David) Neal; in addition to 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, Sister in-law Beverly Olson and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas.
