The news of your passing took me by complete surprise. You were like a father to me. I could always count on you for anything. I just spoke to you moments before you passed away. My heart is in a ton of pain with the realization that I won´t ever get to see or speak to you again. My condolences go out to his family especially his wife. I hope you know just how special you were to him as I´m sure he was to you. He was a great man.

Every now and then, Jim and I would ride around Perry in his 62 Chevy and of all things, we would sing. Neither one of us could carry a tune, so we would sing (the song never mattered) at the top of our voices and then laugh at ourselves. I'll never forget it.
