Jaime Terrazas Obituary

Jaime Ignacio Terrazas, 40, passed October 8, 2021, at his home in Lawrence, Kansas. He is being cremated at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for Jaime Ignacio Terrazas will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 , at the W Banquet Hall, 704 Connecticut, Lawrence, KS at 5pm. Dinner will be provided following the Memorial Service.

Family and Friends will honor Jaime with a Celebration of Life directly following the services. Everyone is welcome to stay and celebrate his life with the family.

Jaime was born on November 19, 1980, in Escondido, California to Penny Terrazas Hughes and Keith Pedersen. He later moved to Lawrence, KS where he resided most his life. Jaime's passions were his wife, his kids, family, the CHARGERS, BBQ, mechanics, spending time at the lake with family and friends, and people in general. He was a "social butterfly", a selfless man, & would always help anyone who was in need.

On September 4, 1999, he married Vilayvanh "Maly" Rattanavongsy in Lawrence, Kansas. They later divorced in 2007.

On July 4, 2014, he married Amanda Kate Lee in Maple Hill, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his Great-grandmother, Clara Truelson Smith;

Grandparents, Ignacio and Connie Smith Terrazas, Eleanor Agnes Salcido Pedersen;

Parents and Stepparents, Mark and Penny Hughes, Keith and Vanita Pedersen;

Siblings, Kory Pedersen, Kyle Pedersen, Joshua Terrazas, and Brandie Lynn Mann;

Children include, Keyrra Roberts, (daughter of Heidi Roberts); Christian Miller, (son of Cheryl Miller); Jaime Terrazas Jr., Malyssa Terrazas, Angelina Terrazas, Kymberly Bernard, Alexandria Bernard, and Isabell Bernard.
