I am not a man who generally writes condolences. But in this case I felt I had to.
Sincerely,

Jude and I knew Jack for a number of years. He and I attended Fordham College and worked together as pages at CBS studios including the two Beatles performances. We had many a drink and dinner at the China Song next door. Jack was a great guy with a quirky sense of humor. It was great that he was able to turn that sense of humor into some of the funniest cartoons ever, even one where he included my wife as a fashion designer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. He will be missed. Vince Enright New Providence NJ

Dear Beth, Kelli and all of the Zieglers,
I was so very sad to learn of Jack's passing as were all the Bannan and Sheehan cousins. He was such a wonderful and talented guy. I will certainly miss searching The New Yorker for his witty cartoons. I have a cartoon from "How's the Squid?" on the wall of my office, so I think of Jack often and always will.
Please know that I am thinking of all of you hoping that memories and knowing that that Jack left a great legacy for the world to enjoy will bring you comfort as well as knowing that he is now reunited with his dear parents, Kay and Denny.
