Jack Collins Obituary
Jack Collins, 84, Belleville died September 20, 2014. Jack was born in Belleville, Kansas on April 23, 1930 to Percy and Ola (Hedgecoak) Collins. Jack worked as an agent first for Mitchell Realty and later Hedges Realty. He served a term as Treasurer of the Lawrence Realty Association. In 2004 Jack moved to the family home in Belleville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Percy; wife the late Sue Jane Hughes; and his daughter Stephanie. He is survived by sons Jack, Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas and Steven of Lee's Summit, Missouri. A graveside service will be held at the Belleville Cemetery in Belleville, Kansas on Sunday, September 28 at 2 pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Belleville Health Care Center which may be sent in care of Tibbetts- Fischer Funeral Home, 1104 20th Street, Belleville, Kansas 66935. Jack. I know Sue, Steph,Percy Margie and Stuart will take good care of him. God needed a whistler, The Collins family and the Chaney family lost another part, our hearts are broken along with yours.

I am sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed indeed by all who knew and loved him. God never intended for any of us to die.!he is described as the "God of the dead but of the living" as found at Acts 20:38. He wants us to live forever not for a mere 80 years or so as found at Psalms 90:10. Very soon he will eliminate sickness and death by means of his Kingdom as mentioned in The Lord's Prayer. Please take care.
