Howard was a friend and colleague. He helped many an international student with his characteristic kindness and patience to prepare for their academics and teaching at KU. One of the most gentle spirits we know, his quiet impact in our own lives will always be remembered. My heart goes out to you, Linda, Andrew, Michael, and your families. Much love to you.
