A quality grandfather, father and husband who will be sorely missed. His legacy and lessons live on. His love, support and guidance has helped his family to realize their potential. He encouraged everyone to do what made them happy, including his beautiful wife and our beloved grandmother. The love and care he gave his children manifests in the tight family bonds and quality parenting they give their own children. With his stories, he made us appreciate history, laugh and listen (and listen and listen... :-). Gone but never forgotten. I love you grandpa. I wish I could have heard one more story. Sending love, hugs and shared tears to my family.

Funny how things keep on going round. The last time I had the pleasure of running in to Harold was at the funeral of Tommy Lemon. Had a good, but too short of a visit. It was good to see him there. Always liked Harold as a person and a cop.

He was anybody's friend. He loved the simple things in life and he loved life and loved his family. It would be hard to find another guy like him. He had a memory that never stopped and loved telling his life stories. We will miss him but know he is having a big reunion right now with those who went ahead.of him.

Harold was my first Training Officer, the day I started my career at TPD was Harold's 17th Anniversary with TPD. Harold always remembered us being "blown out of a burning house." Harold served his community as a Police Officer with Honor and "fairness to All!" My prayers and thoughts go out to his family and loved ones. Rest in Peace my Brother!

Jeanne
I am so sorry for your loss. I had just recently read of your 60th wedding anniversary coming up.
I am so glad you were able to celebrate it together.
The last time I saw Harold was when he came to Veryl's funeral in March 2012.
He and Veryl are probably up there talking about old times together on the TPD.
God bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Judy Whisler
