On January 23, 1942, she was united in marriage to Harold Thomas Melton of Tecumseh, Kansas. He entered the Naval Service immediately after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold of 69 years, a sister, Elsie Richardson and a brother, John Kellogg.
