I don't remember Jerry not being a part of my life. He was with my sister since before I was born. I remember thinking, as a small child, what a nice looking man he was. He had a great smile and was always good to my sisters and I when we were so young. He teased us and then continued to do so with our children. He helped our Mom with his talents of plumbing. I enjoyed being around his Mom and Dad. They were good people and passed that trait on to their children. He will be missed.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Wisthoff. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.
