Heartfelt condolences to Michael and Martin. I was so very sorry to learn of Gay's passing. She had such a loving spirit, she radiated light.

I am so sorry for your loss. Gay was an inspiration to me and so many others who knew her. I loved to listen to her stories and travels. She was an amazing woman who cared deeply about others, and did so much to help those in need. She will be greatly missed.

I have fond memories of Gay; she was always such a kind neighbor. I'm sorry that I only just now learned of her passing...otherwise, I would have been at the funeral. She had such a kind and calm presence.

My love to Michel and Martin on this sad day. I know there are still chapters to be written about the gifts and influence of my wonderful friend Gay Anne. Her spirit will enable us to be brave and act with kindness towards others. Her faith will inspire the many who witnessed her life.

The Light of Christ. Gay was my guiding light.

Gay was my first glimpse of God here on earth. She mentored me and led me to the heart of Jesus. I will never forget her strength, courage, love, and the joy she found in her travels - her family - her friends - mostly in living each day as Christ guided her. I pray for peace for her body which went through so much. I pray for her to know the Living God in Heaven. Better is one day in His courts. Love you Gay.

I first met Gay during my first year (9th grade) at Westridge School, and she and I quickly became close and long term friends. We shared many common interests, from swimming, to piano, to church activities. I will miss her gentle, steady, faithfulness and friendship. Peace and blessings to Michael, Martin, and her family and many friends...she will be missed.

Gay was a very supportive friend when I needed her. We lost touch. Still, I remember her courage and kindness. Her struggles are over and I wish her nothing but light, love and rainbows. Sympathies to Michael and Martin.

Jack and I were very saddened to learn about Gay's death in the LJW. It was not so very long ago that she was a welcoming hostess for the Wine and Cheese group. She was a generous and resilient woman. A vital member of the Lawrence community. She will be missed by so many.

Gay was so gifted at prayer. I met her at St. Margarets and would see her when she came into LMH for testing. She was intelligent and insightful. I will miss her

I loved Gay and Michael as my "first family" in Lawrence in 1985. They saw to it that I met Andy and the rest was history. She was always calm and kind and loving, and her soul was beautiful. We shared many happy times. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Gay was always smiling, one would never know she was battling cancer. Wish I could have gotten to know her better.

Ruth and I met Gay and her husband shortly after we moved to Lawrence in 1994. They welcomed us and helped us become settled in Trinity Episcopal Church. We have enjoyed their friendship in the years since.
