Frieda Wells Obituary

Frieda Anne Oliver Wells, 72, of Richmond, MO formerly of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, MO. The family will receive friends at the Visitation from 6 to 8 pm, Mon., Jan. 9 and the Funeral at 11 am, Tue., Jan. 10, both at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Tanner Jones / Lane Frost Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home. Frieda was born on Feb. 27, 1944 in Kansas City, KS and was a long time area resident. She graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1962 and enjoyed raising her family in the Jefferson County area. Later she worked for the Laidlaw Bus Transportation Co. in Lawrence, KS where she was the manager retiring in 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents L.D. and Fonnie Oliver, two brothers Larry Oliver and Michael Oliver. And is survived by her two children Shelly Cox (Billy) of Richmond, MO and Jamie Moore (Angela) of Tonganoxie, KS. One brother Clay Oliver (Cindy) of Mt. Dora, FL. Five grandchildren Dustin, Lacey, Heath, Justine and Clayton and one great grandson.
