Frances Howell Obituary

Frances L. Lynch Howell, beloved and devoted wife and mother.
Frances was called to her heavenly home on Friday, June 24, 2011. Born to the late Ronnell Hurcles Lynch and Goldie Lynch Morrow in Tennessee, lived in Upland, Chester and Linwood, PA. Raised with one sister and five brothers, she graduated from Eddystone High School, class of 1954. Married Peter D. Howell III in June 1956 and was happily married to Peter for 54 years until his death in December, 2010. She spent many of her childhood years at Upland Baptist Church and was so thankful for Christ-centered preaching, teaching and fellowship. Frances enjoyed raising and lovingly caring for her two sons and one daughter. She had many fond memories of summer days at Palentine Lake, NJ and Wildwood, NJ. She also loved flowers and enjoyed flower gardening. As she was raising her daughter, Frances enjoyed babysitting in her home for working mothers. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Peter who died in 2005.
Survivors: Son, Michael Howell of Linwood, PA, Daughter, Patty Swanson and husband, Rean of Beaumont, TX, Brother, Ralph Lynch & sister, Delray Schartner, 2 grandchildren, Dylan Alex Howell and Keri Swanson.
Visitation: Tuesday, 11 a.m.-noon at the Moreland-Pagano Funeral Home, 825 Main St., Trainer, PA followed by graveside services at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Teano and staff for their many years of love, friendship and compassionate medical care.
