I had the pleasure of working for Evelyn and Art at 23rd Street Taco Grande in Lawrence KS. They were wonderful people. Kept in touch with her for several years after the Lawrence stores closed because I always thought so highly of her and didn't want to lose contact...she ran across my mind a couple of weeks ago...for the first time in quite a while ...hoping to get in contact with her again.... My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family...she may be gone physically..but nothing can take away the memories you'll always have in your .

I have such fond memories of my aunt Evelyn when we all shared the holidays at grandmas house with the big porch. I will never forget her laughter and her amazing heart. She was truly an amazing woman. You will be missed by all. Say hi to mom cause she's waiting to dance in the sky with you. All my love to you and hugs to all my family.
