Eric Goolsby Obituary

Eric was a fabulous person, and a great entertainer. I enjoyed "Caribe", and enjoyed hanging with his brother at the shows. Rest in peace, Eric. You will be missed. My sincerest thoughts to your family during this difficult time.

Eric was our classmate, neighbor and fun-loving guy. So sorry to hear of his untimely demise. May you be comforted by his memories and love you shared.

Eric brought me into his home two seperate times. The first time I met Eric I described my troubled past and being in jail. He treated me as son, showing me through his actions how to become someone who could be respected a.k.a. a good man. The second time he once again taught me several valuable life lessons such as correctly showing respect, loving someone through my actions, as well as many more. Thank you so much for blessing this world with your light. To Erics' parents, Gina, and Maggie, my heart goes out to you. God Bless

Eric was always a gentle soul, although admittedly I knew his sister Sharon much better, but Sharon was equally a gentle and kind person. I know the pain of losing your brother, it's a pain we hope we never face, but life, is in God's hands, not ours. My sincere condolences to the entire Goolsby family, especially to Sharon.

Hearing about Mr. Eric was a very sad day in my life. Eric and I go way back in the day's enjoying the great times playing music at the Gentry's house. I was able to enjoying hearing Mr. Eric starting his career with his bass guitar. He was a very great person and he will never be forgotten. Great memory's for every.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Eric was a friend, and bandmate (Orion). He was a kind and gentle soul.

I'm so sorry to hear the news. Knowing Eric and going to school with him from grade school through high school--always enjoyed his laugh. Prayers to the family.

What a kind soul. Jan.1, 1976 Eric took us to his parents house where his father married us in their living room...Eric had a loving heart and a great talent. His physical self will be missed but he will be always present.
