Elizabeth Bowman Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Bowman (61) died at home in Windsor, Colorado on April 14, 2023. She suffered from ALS for four years. Born in Minot, North Dakota on August 4, 1961. Elizabeth formally lived in Kansas City, Missouri and Lawrence, Kansas. She graduated from Lawrence High School. Elizabeth also obtained a fine arts degree from the University of Kansas. Elizabeth retired as Art Administrator for the Kansas City, Missouri Government. Elizabeth also served as Marketing Manager at the Kansas City Convention Center. She loved to quilt, weave, make stain glass projects and grow flowers. Elizabeth also loved to socialize with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Everette Bowman. Elizabeth is survived by her sister Bonnie L. Moss of Lawrence, Kansas and her brother Jim R. Bowman Windsor, Colorado. Services will be held on May 13, 2023 at 11:00 at Bethel Lutheran Church, Windsor, Co. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ALS Association (donate.als.org).
