Never met this lady, but to know she was from Austria during the eve of WWI is amazing. What she may have been able to share regarding the history is awesome and her life is so much so! May you rest in peace.

This is such a beautiful memorial of Elisabeth.
I remember meeting on occasions when she would help her husband, Dr.Hollday in his office.
After the visits I could hardly wait for her to give me a balloon.
Though I interrupted a movie date, this just happened to be Dr.Holladay's birthday celebration.
Before cellphones and pagers, on the evening of September 11th Dr. Holliday received a phone call at the theater to deliver a baby. That baby is me!
To the family of Elisabeth I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing such beautiful memories.

What a beautiful tribute to your mother; I thoroughly enjoyed reading about her life and adventures! To David, and all the family, I am sorry for your loss, but you have many memories to treasure...

Elisabeth and Ken are together again. Thank you Elisabeth for being such a warm, wonderful person. You were the best type of doctor's wife: one who truly cared about your husband's patients. You were the very first visitor after Dr Holladay delivered my son. Once at our house in Eudora you saw me outside working atop the roof as you drove by. You pulled over your car (the famous blue Tercel?) and told me to BE CAREFUL up there. Thank you for everything.

It was so great getting to know Elisabeth in the little time she was at Homestead. I already miss her accent! Such a strong woman and definitely a fighter! Rest in Heaven Queen!
