Elaine Nordberg Obituary

Elaine Nordberg (Lehrke), 60, passed away on May 20, 2025 at her home in Aitkin, MN with loving family by her side. She fought ovarian cancer with fierceness and grace for seven and a half years.

Elaine was born January 25, 1965, she enjoyed her childhood on the family farm with her many siblings and her time at school in Upsala, MN where she was homecoming royalty and had many friends.

She was passionate about her career at the Farm Service Agency, her job was never work to her. She had many hobbies throughout her life including gardening, fishing and camping. She loved sitting around a fire and found herself happiest outside in nature.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved with all her heart. She was full of kindness, laughter, a bit of sarcasm and incredible resilience, she will be missed by many.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Brett Nordberg, her children Kelly Turner (Mark), Kari Olavson (Kirk), and Seth Nordberg (Alexa). Along with four sisters, three brothers, six grandchildren and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents (Raymond and Cecelia), her brother (Ricky), and her grandson (Jacob).

There will be a celebration of life to come in late summer.
