Edna Sullivan Obituary

Edna Vivian Sullivan, 99, of McLouth, died Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Eudora Medical Lodge. She was born November 17, 1921 at Macon, MO, the daughter of Emery Johnathan and Anna Degroot Whiles. She was a 1939 graduate and Valedictorian of Macon High School in Macon, MO. After graduation, she attended Beauty School. Living in McLouth since 1966, Edna was homemaker and formerly worked at the Hallmark Card Company and as a clerk and cook for the S.S. Kresge Company . She was a member of McLouth United Methodist Church.

She married Harold Wayne Sullivan on February 6 1943 at McComb, MS, he preceded her in death on September 12, 1997. Survivors include two sons, Gerald (Vicki) Sullivan, McLouth, Bill (Betty) Sullivan, Jacksboro, TN, a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Sullivan, McLouth, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Donny J. Sullivan and a sister, Heddy Perkins.

Cremation Care is planned. Inurnment will be at McLouth Cemetery. A Memorial Celebration of life will be planned in the spring of 2022.
