Eddie was my Taekwondo teacher in the early 70's at his Lawrence Karate School. I have ever since considered him my first great teacher, Sensei, Guru, in martial arts as well as in life. I am so grateful to have known such a wonderful, wise, kind, generous, hilarious, gentle great teacher. The world was a better place with Eddie in it, & I believe his spirit continues to benefit everyone & everything. He will never be forgotten by those who were lucky to have crossed paths with him. RIP, my dear friend.

I am sure I speak for all the 1968 Colonels when I say that Eddie was a great addition to our class and the entire world. Reading the impressive list of accomplishments in his obituary made me wish that I could have know him better as an adult. My sympathies to the entire family.
