It was with great sadness that I learned of Don´s passing. His marriage to Wilma, one of my mom´s good friends, many years ago first introduced me to Don, and I immediately liked him and enjoyed years of respectful friendship with Don. We had numerous, candid conversations, and also humorous ones. Don´s rather sardonic sense of humor and matter-of-fact posture was refreshing to me, and I frankly enjoyed the repartee we engaged in. Above all, Don´s humility, his unequivocal devotion and obedience to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, were qualities that were so evident in his life to me. I´m grateful to have known Don, and my deepest sympathies go out to Wilma, and the entire family.
