Donald Dolina Obituary

Donald (Donnie) Mack Dolina Jr. resident of McLouth, KS formerly of Eudora, KS left us too soon away at the age of 65 on June 22, 2022, at his home. Viewing will be held at 5:00 p. m. - 7:00 p. m. Services will follow led by Melissa's Uncle, Jim Baker from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p. m. on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence Kansas. Donnie was born on November 4, 1956, in Washington DC, he was the son of Donald Dolina Sr. and Margret Caton and raised by his father Junior Lee Wardrip. Donald was an owner/operator of a hotel remodeling company and even spent his holidays spreading love as Santa Clause. Donnie had the amazing opportunity to find love twice in his life. He spent his life building a beautiful family with his high school sweetheart Brenda Dolina for 44 years. He told many he thought he would never find love again until meeting his second love. He married Melissa Dolina on February 20, 2021. Other survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Dolina, Jackie Folks, Samantha Dolina, his brother, Junior Lee Wardrip, sisters, Jackie Mosher, Linda King, Sharon Busey, grandchildren, Madison, Aiden, Trinity (Bug), Bret, Garrett, Ethan (Eman), Jackson (Jackmack), Keylee (Bones), great-granddaughter, Harper, numerous nieces, and nephews, along with his favorite niece, Sissy, and favorite nephew, Chris (Poops). Donald was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Brenda Dolina, sisters, Sandra Wardrip, and Donna Marie Hicks. Donnie lived his life to tell stories about his family and friends. He was the type of person you felt like family even if you just met, his passing leaves so many with a heavy heart. He will be dearly missed. Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Donald's wife Melissa Dolina and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
