I remember always admiring my Aunt Dolores because she was an impeccable homemaker. Her skill and focus were always unbending and she made it resemble art. I would have called her a home artist, so fine was her ability to create an environment filled with comfort and love. Make no mistake, she was a Conner woman through and through, strong and determined. She protected her family, her beloved husband, her children and her home. You didn't wonder where you stood with Aunt Dolores. She was a woman of thoughtful kindness and didn't hesitate to speak her mind. Aunt D, you will be missed. I love you.

The news about Aunt Delores makes Ann and me so, so sad. Our sympathy goes to Uncle Bryce, Jerry, Ronda, and the grandchildren.
This event has also caused us to think back so fondly about Delores. The best words are “devoted and loving housewife and mother.” She liked the adventure of Army life. She liked the calm of Baldwin. But she LOVED her family … even the teenage years. My most vivid memories are of family feasts in El Dorado and Emporia (Mothers' Day!) and Eureka and Baldwin, where her love of her extended family was always in evidence.
Again, our heartfelt sympathy goes out on this occasion from Bill, Ann, Maggie, Patti, and Cyrus.
