Diane Lou Wilson (Cates)

Diane Lou Wilson (Cates), 70, daughter of Franklin and Loretta O. Cates (Shaw), was born on June 21, 1942 in Wyandotte County, Kansas, died on April 11, 2013 in her home in Kimberling City, Missouri.

She in survived by her husband of 48 years, Bob Wilson, of Kimberling City, Missouri; three sons, Steve Herschell, Gayle, of Lawrence, Kansas; Mark Wilson, Samantha, of Edwardsville, Kansas; Shawn Wilson, of Paola, Kansas; one daughter Diana Banister, of Kimberling City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Michael Herschell, Josh Herschell, Jamie Davis, Brookelynn Landes, and Cody Wilson. She is also survived by brother, Harry Cates, of Henderson, Nevada, and sister, Loretta Dunbar, of Sun City West, Arizona.

Diane was a 1960 graduate of Lawrence High School, and was a retired realtor who lived in the Kimberling City area for the past 15 years moving there from Linwood, Kansas. She was a lifelong Baptist Christian.

Memorial service to be at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana Street, Lawrence, Kansas on May 4th, at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent at www.rumsey-yost.com.
