Dennis Schubert Obituary
Dennis D. Schubert, 66, Camdenton, MO, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House after battling hemophilia, liver disease, melanoma and stroke.
He was a graduate of Kansas State University, and a K State sports fan for life. Dennis was employed for over 20 years by Farm Bureau Insurance. He was an avid golfer and was past president of Lake Valley Country Club and was a "founding father" of South Leavenworth County Legion Baseball.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vicki L. Porter Schubert; mother, Marion Schubert, DeSoto, KS; brothers, Rodney (Jane) Schubert, and Llorian "Porg" Schubert, both of Basehor, KS.
Also surviving are his nieces and nephews; Chamlie (Scott) Lingenfelser and their children, Blake and Kaleb, Troy (Michelle) Schubert and their children, Lindsey, Logan and Sam Kasl, Basehor, KS.; aunts, Francis Jeannin , her sons, Michael, Phil, JR and Pat Jeannin, and aunt and uncle, Ed and Ola Howerton and their children, Jeff and Michelle.
He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Schubert.
A Celebration of Life will take place on January 30, 2016 from noon to 6 p.m. at the home of Scott & Chamlie Lingenfelser, 17170 Kansas Ave., Basehor, KS. Online condolences to the family may be expressed at www.cremationcenterkc.com.

So surprised and saddened to read of Dennis's passing. I have very special memories of him since we were in the same high school class. He had such a confident and positive personality and a natural gift for selling.
