Dennis Glasco Obituary
He died peacefully October 2, 2017 at his home in Lawrence.
Dennis was born August 3, 1956, in Moses Lake, Washington, the son of Charles Eldon Glasco and Donna Jean Willson.
He graduated from Daleville High School in Daleville, Alabama. He subsequently earned his Master's Degree in Economics at Kansas University.
Dennis enjoyed teaching math to young people. He began his professional career tutoring basketball players for the the KU athletic department. He remained an avid fan and season ticket holder of Jayhawks basketball for the rest of his life. He subsequently joined the faculty of Haskell Indian Nations University where he taught calculus, statistics and economics for over 25 years. He spent most of his school breaks in the Caribbean and Central America exploring Indian ruins and snorkeling.
Dennis is survived by his mother Donna Glasco Springfield in Pharr, Texas and brother Donald Glasco in Monterey, California.

I will always remember your exams, and how extremely long they were. Youre class always made me laugh though. I appreciate everything you taugh me at Haskell, and what you brought to campus. RIP

Thank you for being a great teacher for Haskell students. I look back and appreciate all the extra help you put in to help us succeed. I ended up working with numbers daily as a career. I had no idea. Got there with your classes. RIP and Onward Haskell

You and Alex were my favorite bosses. I loved working in the Tutoring Lab with you and later building Haskell's very first website. You will always have a special place in my heart and memories. Miss you, Dennis. RIP.
