I'm so sorry to hear of the death of Dennis Day. My heart goes out to his friends and family at this difficult time.

One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of other, by means of love, friendship, indignation and compassion.Dennis' life reflected that and he will be missed.May God's love and comfort help to hold his family close.

I loved watching reruns of the Mickey Mouse Club with you. I remember your name just as clear as I remember Annette and Cubby and some of the others in the introduction. You brought Joy to my childhood. Rest In Peace.

Dennis was a kind and innovative improv instructor to amateur Ren Faire and Dickens street performers like myself. I'm glad I got to receive some of his hard-won improv wisdom. I want to extend my condolences for his loss to his family, friends and colleagues.

What you were to my theatrical world was a foundation of Professional integrity, that could not be understood, unless you stood next to him on a stage! The care in which he demonstrated his craft was ,and will always be monumental. Anyone who was a student in his work shops, always got everything he knew. Your memory will encourage me to walk into my future with your Smile.

I heard about Dennis when I originally joined Faire in Agoura yeeeeeeears ago. There was a comedic Mouseketeer cheer about him that I found amusing. Although I have visited Ernie's booth and attended Sunday services, we had never met due to our rushed schedules. I have seen him off and on throughout Faire and was so happy to have such wonderful *Faire Family* as him.

I'll always remember his energy and smiles when he performed.

Who would have thought that the Dennis that I enjoyed watching on TV would be the same Dennis who was such a hilarious delight later performing commedia del arte at the Renaissance Faire and how I would have the privilege to have him as a mentor and friend.
Dennis was truly a marvelous actor, an impish iconoclast, and a fine chef, to name a few of his many eclectic talents.
My deepest condolences to his family and to Ernie. I will always cherish his wit and laugh.

This is such very sad news. I remember watching the Mickey Mouse Club every day as I was growing up.

Dennis Day narrated and sang the theme song in the Johnny Appleseed legendary cartoon Walt Disney produced.

I recorded it off the Disney channel when my children were growing up and show it at the care facility where I work as part of my activity program when I celebrate the birthday of Johnny Appleseed (who was a real person named John Chapman).

By the end of the video, we are all singing: "Oh, the Lord is good to me, and so I thank the Lord, for giving me the things I need, the sun and the rain and the apple seeds...oh the Lord is good to me."

I used to buy Fairever Passes as the Renaissance fair that was held in Blackpoint , and remember talking to him there many times. Sorry to hear about his passing, and am hoping he is resting in Peace.
