Deborah Louise Ware Byrd, age 65, of 272 Meadowview Lane, Timberlake, NC died Friday afternoon, January 12, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Byrd was born October 14, 1952 in Durham County, NC daughter of the late Paul & Ludie Louise Pridgen Ware. She worked in the food industry at Aramark, enjoyed playing cards with her family, and attended Longhurst United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Tammy L. Jordan & significant other, Ron Gist of Timberlake, NC, four sisters, Patricia Parker & husband, Rudy, Paulette Jenkins & husband, Buddy all of Durham, NC, Mary Jenkins & husband, John of Timberlake, NC, JoAnn Miller & husband, James of Greensboro, NC, brother, Paul D. Ware & wife, Elizabeth of Durham, NC, granddaughter, Jennifer Dickerson, great granddaughter, Allyssa C. Holt, and dog, Lil Man.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Byrd is preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Ware.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham, NC. The family will receive friends and guests Monday, January 15, 2018 from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home.
