Dean Eisman Obituary

Dean Dale "Duffy" Eisman Jr., 70, Linwood, KS, passed away September 30, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

Funeral service will be 10 am Saturday October 11, 2025, at the Tonganoxie Christian Church. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the funeral service starting at 9 am. Burial will be in Mt. Sidney Cemetery, Linwood, KS. A celebration of life will be held later on Saturday at 4pm at the old elementary school building in Linwood, KS. Dale was born on July 6, 1955, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Dean Dale Eisman Sr. and Mary Leah (Purtee) Eisman. He worked most of his career in the Local #1290 Laborers Union. He was a deacon in the Tonganoxie Christian Church and was involved in the youth groups and programs. Survivors include; his wife, Sharren (Gordon) Eisman, of the home; two sons, Tim Eisman, Linwood, John (Crystal) Eisman, Linwood; one brother, Bob Eisman, Lawrence, KS; two sisters, Deana (Larry) Malec, Tonganoxie, KS, Mary (Norm) Nightingale, Zwolle, LA; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Eisman, Isabel Eisman, Madilyn Eisman, and Olivia Eisman. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in his name to the Tonganoxie Christian Church.
