David Rose Obituary
David was a 1988 graduate of Topeka West High School and received his bachelor's degree in journalism from Washburn University. He was employed by Vangent/General Dynamics in Lawrence.
David loved to read, listen to music, and had a great online presence.
Survivors include his mother, Carol Mallory; sister, Valena Hadley; and niece, Mallory Hadley.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, David G. Rose Sr.; and step-father, Wesley Mallory, who raised him.
A time of remembering David will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66606, where the family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals Capper Foundation, 3500 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604.

David, I hate that we lost touch after college. I always thought of you fondly. I was remembering one of our conversations on campus last weekend and googled your name to reach out. You were always smart and direct and funny. I´m so sorry I waited far, far too long to reach out, my friend.
