I worked for Dave at Montgomery Wards as a 16 year old kid. He was my first boss and what a gentle man he was. He was a strong mentor and a very fatherly man who was patient and kind. I have considered him a friend for the past 36 years and am grateful to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Dave Parsons. I met Dave at Montgomery Wards here in Lawrence. I always looked forward to working with him, his smile was so warm. His kindness and big heart was a real pleasure to be around. When ever I would run into him in Lawrence it was always like old home week. What a great guy. Many blessing to his family.

Dave was my boss in the paint and hardware departments at Mongomery Wards in 1980. It is strange; I was just visiting with another co-worker from Wards about Dave a few days ago. He was a patient, fair man as a boss. My condolences to the family.

Dear Virginia & Parsons family,
I am sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Dave will always be remembered as a gentle and caring person. He always had wonderful things to say about his family.
I always enjoyed seeing Dave when I would come to visit my father, Ed.
I hope in time the fond memories you hold close to your heart of Dave will help you through this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,

Dave was my father (Ed Erazmus') roommate at Brandon Woods. He was a perfect roommate for dad. Just this past Saturday when I was there Dave was watching the Olympics with my dad. A nurse moved the curtain and blocked Dave's view from the TV. I don't think she realized Dave was watching it. I immediatly moved it back. Dave will be very missed by all of the Erazmus'. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Parsons family.
