Darlene Frances Bergman-Armstrong, age 64, of Bonner Springs, KS passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00am, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Victory Assembly of God Church in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow in Bonner Springs, Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, January 6, at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.

Darlene was born on October 8, 1949 in Seneca, KS. She later lived in the Topeka Area and then moved to the Bonner Springs area in the mid 1980's. She enjoyed working in childcare at the Victory Assembly of God Church for over 20 years, and has pictures of all the children that she had cared for throughout the years. She had her own Housecleaning business for 20 plus years. She loved spending time with her family especially at the Lake, and was especially loved by all of her cats and dogs. She loved snow skiing and had skied all over the world. She was raised going to St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Seneca, KS. She was preceded in death by a stepson Matt Armstrong in 2007 and is survived by her husband David Armstrong of the home and 1 Daughter Amy Bergman of the home, 1 Step Daughter Gina McMahan of Bonner Springs, 1 Brother Marvin Bergman of Seneca, KS and 2 Grandsons as well as a host of other family and friends.
