I met Colleen while she was living in Florida. We worked together. Colleen was one of the nicest people I have ever met here in Florida. Always willing to help with anything she could help you with. She loved Dan and her dogs. We had recently reconnected on Facebook. My heart goes out to those who Colleen left behind.

I worked with Miss Colleen at Johnson County DCF Office. Miss Colleen was a wonderful friendly person. She was always very helpful. She will be greatly missed by her family at Lawrence High--home of the Chesty Lions .

So sorry to hear about Colleen. We cannot be there for the funeral, but will be praying for all of you. I am so thankful for the summers I spent babysitting and living with you guys and have many great memories! Colleen was the protective, feisty big sister. She kept me in line especially when it came to baby Kelly. We love all of you deeply and miss you. I was dating Ken at the time and we spent many nights driving Kelly in the car to put him to sleep. Your mom was like a second mom to me and I was grateful to be a part of your family.
With hugs and kisses to all,

I was saddened to hear about Colleen's death. She was a bright star in so many lives and was especially important in my mothers life. Her infectious personality and smile will be truly missed. I know her love for the Lord and strong faith carried her home to paradise. Please know that I will be praying for her and all the family. Take gentle care!
