Clayton McCully Obituary

We all miss you, Clayton. Every time I look up in the starry night sky I remember catfishin' with you and your father at "The Farm" in Horton when you were knee high to a grasshopper. I will always remember you both with love and fond memories.

I pray for strength for all of you everyday. I am so sorry for your loss, and my heart is heavy with devastation, Clayton was an amazing person and friend.

It is with great sorrow that we learned of Clayton's accident and death. Such a tragic loss, when he had his whole life ahead of him. An incomprable loss to any parent. We always expect our children to outlive us, and we find it almost impossible to accept when they are tragically taken from us. Our hearts ache for you in this time of sorrow. His life was far too short, but in the remembrance of the great joy and love he brought to all his family and friends, there is a lasting comfort. May God bless and comfort you all.

My thoughts & prayers are with all of you at this time of sorrow. I am deeply sorry for such a great loss. I will always remember Claytons SMILE. He could knock you over with that SMILE, sometimes it was mischievious but mostly genuine. I know he was a great friend to Brandon & dear in our hearts. Clayton was at our house sooo many times he felt like family. Brandon,Clayton,DJ,Zack & their clan hanging out on Halloween playing tricks & the same clan at Brandons B-day parties @ the lake running around playing tag,water guns,water balloons, hit the pinata w/out hitting the kids next to you,since they were just little tykes. I remember the time they all skipped school..the boys all called in to the school 1 right after the other...so silly ..but we caught them ..cause.. we loved them. Clayton was also an excellent soccer player & 1 hell of a team player. OH dont sink my battleship. I have so many fond memories of Clayton. Clayton will always be in my heart & memories. My prayers are for you to find the strength & faith & support & all the GRAND memories to get you through this time of need.

I remember looking up at the shooting stars in the pitch dark Kansas sky at the farm pond in Horton while catfishing with Bryan and five-year-old Clayton. Clayton surprised us by saying, "Daddy, look at those little men flying around with jet packs up there!" YOU are now flying high in the heavens, Clayton, and we all miss you dearly.

I am so sorry to hear about Clayton...he was such an awesome kid and so loved by everyone. My kids still talk about him showing them his new tattoo at Thanksgiving and how he helped them with the slot machine game at your house that morning we came over for brunch. Diana and Bryan, I dont know what to say. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches and I cant imagine your pain. The Memory's of Clayton from birth and up are so precious.The times we spent together in Horton and helping build your house.Joey and Jacob have great memory's of times spent growing up their cousin Clayton. The 3 of them alway said they were gonna get a bus and go travel together. Just know that his memory's will travel with all of us for life. Wow, what an impact he has left on so many lifes.
