Christofer Carr Obituary
Chris was a pressman at Lawrence Journal-World for fourteen years. In March of 2016, he moved to upstate New York to be with the love of his life, Meredith Hamilton. They were to be married on February 22, 2022, after being engaged for seven years.
Chris could brighten up a room full of darkness with his huge heart and ability to make anyone laugh. His family and friends were his greatest joy, and he treasured the time he spent with his children.
He was predeceased by his father John Nichols. Chris is survived by his fiancée Meredith Hamilton of Ballston Spa; his children Alisia Carr of Lawrence, Kansas and Tyler Carr of Ballston Spa; stepdaughter Hannah Hamilton of Newton, NJ; mother Betty Nichols of Lawrence, Kansas; and sister Tammy Strong of Olathe, Kansas.
At Chris's request there will be no services.
