Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

August 12, 2014

I remember Mrs. Schlagel from when I was a child and visited my grandparents, Josephine and John Fitzgibbon at their Bonner Springs farm each summer. They were wonderful neighbors. She had a good soul and helped my grandmother when she was older and had lost her husband. Even with a large family, she always found time to give of her time to my grandmother. I will always be grateful for her kindness to Josephine. The family were wonderful people and neighbors!!

To all my Schlagel cousins - my condolences on the loss of your mom. She is in a wonderful place with her husband and baby son, with the arms of God around her. She was such a nice person and such a lady of grace. I just now found out and so sorry I didn't know so I couldn't go to the funeral. I am sure it was a lovely tribute to a lovely person.
