Charles Yockey Obituary

Charles and Nancy Yockey were very close friends in Lawrence, Kansas. My heart goes out to Nancy. We had many happy times together.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dr Yockey meant a great deal to me, because he was able to diagnose my health issues when others had not had the skill set to find obscure issues.

What a pleasure it was to get to work with Dr. Yockey. I was able to work with him on two different occasions. The first was with the Cotton O'Neil Clinic and the second was when he came and helped out at our Baldwin office. He was kind, compassionate, and downright funny! His handwriting was terrible, and it always made us laugh trying to read what he wrote. He will be greatly missed.

He was the best Doctor Lawrence ever had! Such a caring do.RIP

Worked with Charlie on the ambulance in Lawrence when he was going to school. Great guy!!!

Dr Yockey was a very good Dr. I have worked with him in Topeka and Lawrence. Very good bedside manner, and very knowledgeable. Also worshiped with him at church. He will be missed. Don´t see doctors like him often.

What a dear man he is! Always offering encouragement and his (Christ´s) heart to others. Few days go by without a thought of Charlie! "Steward" manifested!

Charlie was very special friend. I will miss him.

Dr. Yockey was an exceptional "old school" doctor of the kind that is all too rare in today´s busy world. He was competent, caring, generous with his time and always had his patients´ best interest at heart. I extend my deepest sympathy to his family.
