Dear Brilla and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Larrie's death. You will certainly miss his love and devotion to you and your family. We remember seeing some of his woodworking projects and how talented he was at that! We're sure alot of his students are thanking him for how he helped them with their driving skills.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Scott's passing. He was one of my driver's education instructors in 1979. He was a kind man, and I thoroughly enjoyed his sense of humor. He had kind eyes and a gentle but firm touch when we were driving on the roads. He will live on in my memories, and in the memories of so many more people whose lives he touched.

I had the privilege of working with Larrie for 24 years at LHS, and I will always remember his positive personality with a little devilishness thrown in. Larrie was one of those teachers who quietly made up the backbone of a very strong teaching staff. My love and condolences to Brilla and the rest of the family.

Larrie and Brilla were two of my favorite co-workers teaching at LHS. I can still see in my mind's eye Larrie walking/running through the LHS parking lot each summer as he tried to keep the student driver Wanna-Be's on task and on the straight and narrow. Alas, there are no more Larries to teach real driver skills to teens. He's the end of an era.
